Yes, I should have thought of it! This file is really a nuisance.

You can edit it with the defaults command ('defaults read  
org.gnu.Emacs' or 'defaults read org.gnu.Emacs <some key>' and delete  
keys or write to it, changing a key's setting). And it's obviously  
completely out of control.

I once tried to fool Emacs.app by presenting it at very short PLIST  
file, but when I quit Emacs.app it was updated with so much scrap ...  
As burden from the past it should be abandoned. Until XML parameter  
lists are introduced in GNU Emacs 38½ – when I'll, hopefully, be dead.
