Modernize Sphinx configuration
- Bump needs_sphinx from 1.3 to 7.0 to match requirements.txt
- Rename master_doc to root_doc (deprecated since Sphinx 4.0)
- Remove pygments_style override so Furo handles light/dark mode
- Update intersphinx Python mapping from 3.5 to 3.13
- Fix extlinks caption format to avoid Sphinx 7+ deprecation warning
