Same happened to me.
Downgraded Firefox on Ubuntu 16:
apt-cache show firefox | grep Version
sudo apt install firefox=45.0.2+build1-0ubuntu1
sudo apt-mark hold firefox
Next, about:config / xpinstall.signatures.required:=false.
Finally, install 0.3.0.xpi from the website.
There's an alternative addon that installs without a downgrade. But
that one doesn't seem to work.
