I believe you need to use regexp syntax. The above command will find only find property values that exactly match "allan". The following command will find property values containing "allan". (add-to-list 'org-agenda-custom-commands '("sk" "wtd" tags "people={allan}" ((org-agenda-sorting-strategy '(priority-down effort-down))) )) Best, Matt
