Sorry, I was wrong: I'm not sure why I could not reproduce it earlier, but I just retried it both with -Q (9.1.6 -50) and my working org-mode (9.1.6 -392) and I do get auto-filled in both versions. Sometimes I think I'm going mad... -- Nick
