I'm still a fan of Org as an IETF registered MEME type, but I recently heard of what Rust did to get text/rust registered on Linux systems: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=90487 Perhaps we could submit a similar patch? -- Timothy.
