org-md-export-as-markdown preserves the ID property of an org buffer, but for some reason org-org-export-as-org does not. I don't have the "visible only" option set.
According to the function documentation I should be able to pass a property list "with external parameters overriding Org default settings", but I don't know what those default settings are or what parameters will cause the ID to be exported. How can I export org headings to org buffers while preserving the ID? Thanks.
