Well, there are a couple of packages that explicitly state that they
only work with pdflatex, nicematrix, todonotes and ocgx for example

org-mime-org-html-with-latex-default is a variable defined in ‘org-mime.el’.
Its value is ‘imagemagick’
Original value was ‘dvipng’

But this did not help the error continues, so it seems that dvipng is still
used.
