Last year I found out the hard way that it's tricky ;-)

I think I mentioned it, but for the record, it is still working and
you can look at the results here:

https://www.selma.hfmdk-frankfurt.de/finnendahl/clamps-doc/overview

https://www.selma.hfmdk-frankfurt.de/finnendahl/clamps-doc/clamps

https://www.selma.hfmdk-frankfurt.de/finnendahl/clamps-doc/clamps-dict

The three "books" were generated from a single org document each. As
you might see, css is not finalized yet (some browsers show it in a
serif font). I keep the pages separate on purpose, especially since
the dictionary gets autogenerated from the docstrings in the code.

For anyone interested, the sources are in the extra/elisp and doc
subfolders here:

https://github.com/ormf/clamps

Taking a peek here shows that the source is a straightforward org
document (and exemplifies the need for multipage output ;-):

https://github.com/ormf/clamps/blob/main/doc/clamps-dictionary.org

As I said before, it'd be nice if it could get
properly integrated into org in a way, Ihor approves.

Best,
Orm
