Hi, As promised earlier (in off-list communication), I am listing some random ideas related to worg from my todo list. They do not have to be worked on, but can hopefully give some inspiration.
1. send email to all the external package maintainers (especially, babel) to verify their access to worg or suggest sending patches if they do not want sourcehut account 2. Alternative wiki backend for worg: https://list.orgmode.org/orgmode/878qqfpgo2.fsf@localhost/ 3. Consider splitting the newest addition to ob-doc-elisp https://list.orgmode.org/orgmode/287374.1727083681@archlinux/ 4. Add something like https://old.reddit.com/r/emacs/comments/swvbmm/you_want_to_write_a_custom_org_backend_lets_write/ to worg pages 5. a number of people are not aware of org-capture + org-protocol. May need better exposure in the manual/worg 6. modify orgmode mailing list css template to make it look more like a forum; also fold long quotes 7. update https://orgmode.org/worg/org-tools/index.html 8. https://github.com/gsantner/markor has Org mode support. Add to worg? But where? 9. create an Org todo list for future contributors 10. https://github.com/sheijk/org-menu/ 11. Update https://orgmode.org/worg/dev/org-export-reference.html 12. would be nice to setup multiple versions of manual and API decs on WORG; maybe to be pulled from Org git itself 13. https://lists.gnu.org/r/emacs-orgmode/2022-06/msg00877.html 14. consider moving maintenance&contribute docs to admin/ in Org repo + auto pull for worg (or orgweb?): discuss with Bastien&new worg maintainer 15. maybe use in worg https://github.com/oyvindstegard/ox-tagfilter-js 16. org FAQ answer? https://reddit.com/r/orgmode/comments/1956dgs/is_learning_the_orgmode_the_right_choice_for_me/ 17. add to worg? https://list.orgmode.org/orgmode/87y1c7aovb....@posteo.net/ 18. https://list.orgmode.org/orgmode/87seymezkh.fsf@localhost/ 19. https://list.orgmode.org/orgmode/87v8p8fatt.fsf@localhost/ 20. https://list.orgmode.org/orgmode/alpine.deb.2.22.394.2201291225520.68...@shell3.miskatonic.org/ 21. update https://orgmode.org/worg/org-tests/index.html 22. https://writepermission.com/org-blogging-rss-feed.html 23. review https://orgmode.org/worg/org-dependencies.html 24. consider adding other migration tools (evernote?) https://orgmode.org/worg/org-faq.html#orgae00483 25. review https://orgmode.org/worg/archive/gsoc2012/student-projects/git-merge-tool/manual.html 26. add to worg? http://melpa.org/#/org-linenote 27. review worg-editing document 28. consider checking ideas from python.org for Org mode website design 29. need to integrate this page to org-contribute https://orgmode.org/worg/org-issues.html 30. add rss feeds/org source links to worg pages? 31. often complain that Org mode is overwhelming: maybe we need special get started guide just showing examples of initial workflows 32. avoid js website links on worg, as requested by RMS.
