Hi, sorry for not being able to make it to the meetup yesterday. Life came in between and I was kept busy all afternoon fighting (very unpleasant) bureaucracy. I intended to update you on the progress of the feature branch, which is basically ready for more testing. My idea/wish would be to start integration into master after the summer break in September. Maybe we could have it ready in master for the next emacsconf. I intend to make a presentation there about the new features and submitted a talk proposal recently.
