Hi Ihor,

Sorry for the late reply, I had to wait for it to happen again.

It did again for the same .org file. The action I performed was shifting to the left, i.e. from '**' to '*'.

The error was: (error "org-element--cache: Emergency exit")
 Backtrace:
"  backtrace-to-string(nil)
  org-element-at-point()
  org-end-of-subtree(t)
  org-promote-subtree()
  funcall-interactively(org-promote-subtree)
  org-shiftmetaleft()
  funcall-interactively(org-shiftmetaleft)
  command-execute(org-shiftmetaleft)
"

With kind regards,

Renald

Did you see this only once or does the error pop up regularly?
