Or rather, would it be ok to convert org-attach to an org menu, but add a menu display function like the one presently in org-attach? This would change the default behaviour, but it would be possible to get the old menu style by setting org-menu-system to something like 'org-menu-like-attach.
Another option would be for us to have an alist customisation with per menu menu-system specifications, then we could set the menu-system for org-attach to an emulation of the current behaviour. What do you think? Cheers Torbjörn
