Hi, The Library of Babel includes the *gdoc-read* and *gdoc-write* blocks for reading from and writing to Google documents, which could be neat. However, these rely on the *googlecl* tool, which has been broken since at least 2015: https://github.com/gcode-mirror/googlecl
Can anyone think of any reason not to remove them? Better yet, do they inspire ideas for other code blocks we ought to have that can do similarly useful things in 2026? Expiry: 2026-05-01. Background: Org's Library of Babel (LoB) is a collection of useful code blocks that can be called from any Org file, see (info "(org) Library of Babel"). Org-babel comes pre-populated with the code blocks that live in the document at https://orgmode.org/worg/library-of-babel.org You can find the code blocks in question there under the heading "File I/O::Remote files::Google docs". Regards, Christian
