If yes, becoming ox-confluence.el maintainer means that you are free to commit modifications to it directly and to decide what patches to accept. ox-confluence.el lives in org-contrib right now: if you accept to become its maintainer, you can host it on the platform of your choice, outside https://git.sr.ht/~bzg/org-contrib.
