I agree, and depending on the point you can do something like ‘C-c C-p
q’ or ‘C-c C-n q’ to navigate to a heading overlay and quit.

That’s true, or if they use ‘C-c C-x C-c’ to update the overlays, e.g.
if they edited a property while column view is active.
