can you make me a list of macros that should be treated in this way?
If you load AUCTeX with math key bindings
i.e.:
M-x latex-mode RET
M-x latex-math-mode RET
You will get a list of symbols under Math-->Log-like. It is defined in
latex.el.
Here is a list of log-like functions according to AUCTeX.
