Looks like a mixup of Org mode version: The function `org-face-from-face-or-color' was introduced February, 25th 2010 (commit 6fbdb8074e0c83b6a2160cf31665d2d0a99c3d77), in January 2010 6.34c was released. 6.33 doesn't have this function. Could you check if there are other Org versions besides the one shipped with Aquamacs are in your load path?
