Not necessarily. The Makefile has the following target:
doc/org: doc/org.texi
(cd doc; $(MAKEINFO) --no-split org.texi -o org)
where Carsten seems to have explicitly (-o option) set the output
filename to be org.
If calling
info org from shell
command-names, just introduced into org.texi alongside with its keys,
--see thread "keys and command name info"--
are not displayed.
After renaming org into org.info its shown.
