Instead of Konrad's %%(when (eq span 'day) (diary-sunrise)) %%(when (eq span 'day) (diary-sunset)) you can add %%(when (equal date (calendar-current-date)) (diary-sunrise)) %%(when (equal date (calendar-current-date)) (diary-sunset)) so it will only happen on the current date. Nick
