On reproducible research, are you guys aware of the relatively recent project Knitr? Basically, it is a new Sweave which integrate (i) Sweave, (ii) TiKZDevice, (iii) cacheSweave, and (iv) code highlight into one very well-functioning package. It kind of works with Org, but not ideally¹.
