Does it work with your patch? I used (org-global-tags-completion-table org-mobile-files) assuming it would DTRT. If your patch works against master, please resubmit it with a proper ChangeLog message. It would be nice to limit the files where the tags are gathered from, though, dunno what's wrong with my use of (org-global-tags-completion-table org-mobile-files) Can you have a look?
