Hello, On a brand new laptop (Asus i7 with 4 GB RAM), it takes around 3 seconds to update the timestamp, with shifting-up or down on the date.

I have the impression that aspell and flyspell (installed last week) could be the culprit, but AFAIU the report, it seems not. Any idea on how to find the real culprit?
