Solved... Even though I'd been uninstalling previous versions of R, Windows leaves the old directories in C:\Program Files\R, and I think ESS just searches the first one alpha-numerically, so I think it was trying to use the old versions at R-2.14.0 instead of my new version. I deleted all directories except R-3.0.1, and it now works (both =M-x R= and export to LaTeX). John > > > Thanks, > John
