I don't know if JabRef will be a/the tool we eventually want to
`bless'...from what you say, it sounds more limited than Zotero, though
I don't know because I haven't personally used either...but it's nice to
have volunteers!
I agree that we should go for the best tool chain that is available. I
wish you success with your new initiative.
Do write to me if you ever feel that JabRef-based workflow will be of
some interest to you with your document production needs.
