At work I cannot use package.el.  At home, the search cost associated with
checking out org-random-mode is higher.  If I'm lucky I can figure out how
it works on github.

The only org package I use from outside of org-mode.git is org-caldav.

Every package you rely on, that is not in the Emacs tarball is a potential
liability.  I believe I have had issues with conflicting company packages
previously.
