They tied my hands behind my back and locked the keyboard. All I could
do was operate the mouse (OK, "ThinkCl*t") with my nose. Only then I
discovered

   s runs the command dired-sort-toggle-or-edit
     which is an interactive compiled Lisp function in `dired.el'.
   It is bound to s.

doesn't have a mouse binding. Indeed, even clicking on "(Dired by
name)" temptingly in the mode line won't get you far.
