Hm.  Other people have also reported problems with the scp method.
Strange.  But I haven't used that method in quite a while now, so I'll
have to investigate.

Of course, if somebody would help me debugging, that would be great!:-)

Eric, can you use another method, such as `sm' or `su', rather than
`scp', in the meantime?  If you have mimencode installed on the remote
host, the `sm' method is preferred.  Add the directory where mimencode
lives to rcp-remote-path, and everything should be set.  If you need
to use `su', you might encounter problems with the uuencode/uudecode
syntax used.  There are different versions of uuencode and uudecode
with incompatible command line switches.
