rcp now supports logging in via telnet as well as rsh (as before). While it asks for a password when using telnet, it still doesn't grok passwords with rsh, though. Currently, the only access method for telnet is using inline file transfer with mimencode (base64 encoding). Please try it out and see whether it works; I think the possibility of querying for a password is necessary for many people to be able to use it. (The implementation is horrible, though.)
