rcp.el 1.194 - Problem using RCS

When I create a new remote file (using gnu emacs 20.4.1, rcp.el 1.194,
method scp with ssh1 or ssh2), I get the following error message:
rcp-handle-write-region: scp didn't work, ...

In no of messages/debug/... buffers appear enlightning messages


I can't find any error in my configuration, directories are existent,
all files have good rights, scp-ing by hand works, ...
