Emacs-wiki list, How should I best implement 'in-document' linking when working with a large single to-do and notes doc?
You're my last resort for the time being on this topic - I can use outline mode, but it's not my favorite (I probably need to figure out how to better work with it). I'd really like to be able to define, essentially anchors within a document, and create links to those anchors at the top. But when I use planner-mode, these obviously generate new documents if I link on them (not what I want). I like planner, but there are too many files and I really like the idea of aggregating all of my immediate working info into one document, and would probably do some of this as a jumping off / collection point even if using planner with multiple projects pages and day pages. I think planner has a setting to work with one file, but I haven't been able to clearly identify what the ramifications of this are, being relatively new to planner. Help! Any suggestions on how to handle in-document linking and navigation? Anybody doing this and working with one big planner file? Thanks for any input!
