You know, this is another instance where I find Gmail stupid. If I'm taking
the time to filter a message, let's assume it's *not* spam. That box should
always be checked. If I want to uncheck it, that's fine, but the default
should be with it on.
If you’re filtering by sender, and it’s a very well-known sender (e.g.,
“from:@facebook.com”), turning off the spam filter by default would be
disasterous because of the sheer volume of spoof mail.
