Well, I occasionally have multiple messages in Drafts, but mostly those are mistaken saves that Mail.app has not cleared after sending the mail. Mostly.

I think it is the spec though, and in fact any enqueueing feature would pretty much have to rely on that behavior, storing the queued message in the Drafts folder until ready to send.

We have to remember that everything Latters does has to play well and work with other clients as well. For example, if I enqueue a message in Letters, and then later edit it and send it with ThunderBoid, Letters needs to deal with that correctly (notice the message is gone and remove it from its list of enqueued messages), not run around like an overexcited puppy wailing "The mesasge is gone! The Message is gone!"
