Wouldn't it be nice if Letters could properly pick up the correct thread
when replying to a digest message! Maybe the digest doesn't have enough
information (message-ids would be required), but perhaps this could be
achieved with the collaboration of some mailing list software authors.

look at the image in the middle of all the clutter.
To refresh, the link is to a screen grab of the Mail.app plugin
WideMail's formatting preferences. I think it's a great way to
organize the data displayed in the message list pane.
That's pretty reasonable. You can say what you want in the main display
line, and what should be displayed below that. It's hard to tell from
the images, but how much control do you get of the width of the parts?
