Hello, all, Apparently, the evil AOL gnomes [trolls? toads?] are at it, again.
AOL changed some of their software, today. So far, emailer is handling the changes. However, MSIE 5 and Netscape 6 are not. [When you attempt to download an attachment using a web browser, it doesn't.] Also, when you go look at sent mail, using a browser, it is listed in chronological order [oldest first]. This applies to emailer users and is bad for emailer users. If AOL choked emailer while emailer was downloading something ... AOL moves the failed email to the read folder. This means you get to wade through 10 to 20 pages of old emails to find the one email that didn't download correctly. So, if AOL chokes emailer, open browser ... login ... page-page-page ... mark as new ... hope for the best ... I called and tried to complain; however, I gave up after 30 minutes on hold ... [Thank goodness for speaker phones!] Jim ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
