Thanks Karl, and to all.
We are keeping the AOL address for about 18 months. The address is
used by the head of a volunteer organization and she does not wish to ask
people to change.
The address owner does not wish to continue using AOL software,
though, which rules out using AOL for OS 10 (has anyone tried this
animal?)
That leaves us with using the disabled AOL as an archive and using
Emailer under classic moving forward.

What is preferred and can be done would be to move the AOL archive
into emailer and drop AOL software entirely. However, as another post
suggested, the effort to do this is not worth the reward as the archive
is seldom used. The archive owner just does not want to let go of it.
What I was looking for probably does not exist -- a simple way to
move 13.3 megs of mail from AOL into Emailer.

When the AOL address can be dropped we'll probably leave Emailer and
move to an OS 10 email program if one competitive with Emailer exists.
