As long as we are on the FileMaker thread, and the list has been relatively slow, I will see if I can slide this question in. I still have FileMaker 3. Last January I bought Panorama and I have been developing a solution in it ever since. Can anyone tell me how FileMaker 6 has changed from version 5 and 5.5? Maybe you know a good link for a review on version 6?
I am going to be doing a demo of Panorama next month at my MUG and I no longer have a clue how FileMaker is "different", now that it is in version 6.x. Version 5 had a table view, but it didn't really seem like a table view, in that it didn't show the relationships between the tables visually. Other than that I think I picked up that it is trying for more compliance (ODBC) with higher end DB's. Has it added any script triggers from clicking in or mousing over a field? Again, not really Emailer related so if you are up on the changes in FileMaker, especially since version 3, I would love to hear from you. Off list, on list, it matters not. Thanks.
