Yes, all the GeekSpeak did help, if only to eliminate some possible causes. Further, I have a sneaking suspicion that the problem is that a sender has changed something but we'll get to that in a bit.
1.) Did only one mail action stop working?
2.) What are the steps in the mail action(s) that stopped working?
3.) Is the stoppage total and consistent as contrasted to partial and/or sporadic?
While we're flailing away, please send (by means of copy/paste) a complete copy of the long complete header of an email when the mail action did work and a complete copy of the long complete header of an email when the mail action did not work so we can compare them.
