Chip Scheide sa: >accelerator - $350 - powerlogix G4/500 (from Otherworld computing >[www.macsales.com])
How did you dare to with this note?: "Note: Maximum ram supported: 192MB for the WallStreet machines and 384MB on the Lombards. Although many people have been successful with more memory installed, we do not support more than these specified amounts." <http://eshop.macsales.com/Catalog_Item.cfm?ID=4059&Item=PLGBCW45002001> Even with 512 MB, which are in my plans for my PDQ, I'd say that a faster drive is important for OS X. I'm contemplating the 40 GB Toshiba with 16MB RAM in cache. By the way I'd say a PDQ, that is a G3/366 Wall Street series, is what you have, as the Lombard never was available in 266mhz, only 333 and 400. Please let us know how things work if and when you install X. I'll do likewise. ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
