Interesting using the Custom Settings changes nothing for me. I am fairly certain that I had "installed" Emailer Custom Settings years ago for some reason. I am using attbi.com also in Oregon and have been getting the noisome network stream errors with each and every Send. I have somehow been able to not fixate on it (not normal for me:)). Maybe when comcast takes over this will change - for the better.
