On or about 1/16/03 4:46 PM Tannis Baker AKA [EMAIL PROTECTED] eruditely mused the following:
>I would now like to add a postscript to that forward and send it to the >exact same selected group. It is not a collection of addresses that I >had any reason to go to the trouble of creating a New Group for. > >Is there any quick way of creating a new outgoing mail of any kind with >those same addresses automatically or efficiently. (i.e. duplicating and >the old message (with addresses)and replacing it with a new?) There are some resend message AppleScripts that allow you to resend or readdress an email. You could use one of those, choose readdress and then delete the original message and write the new stuff you want. Your outgoing email addresses will remain. If you don't have too many addresses you could just open the old email, click on the check mark to the left of the email address and choose "Mark recipient as unsent". This is quick for a small number while a script will be better for a large number of addresses. Doing this does unfortunately still leave the email listed as being made/sent at the time of the original message, but that may not worry you. The scripts I have are called "Resend Message", "Resend Messages" and "Resend Message w/ readdress". I think the last one works best. I don't believe there is a way of duplicating the email but someone may prove me wrong on that one. Would you really like me to distribute your unlisted telephone number? Basically it's the same thing and increases the Spam we all get.
