But Services have nothing to do with Internet Preferences nor Mail. No 
apps "support internet preferences", it's the job of the OS to make sure 
that the right apps get the right URLs. Services should respect internet 
preferences of course, so you're correct in that regard. But it's the OS 
that needs the change.

We can always ask Apple to make Services respect settings. Maybe a small 
campaign is in order.
