What I generally do in this situation is the following:
1. Open a "Reply to sender and all other recipients" reply email.
2. Click and hold on the little alarm clock icon next to any name
I want to save.
3. From the pick list that pops open, choose "Copy recipient to
address book."
4. If all I want to do is save addresses, I trash the reply email.
