First, does anyone have a scroll wheel mouse working with Emailer? I just bought a Kensington optical mouse with a scroll wheel. It seems to work fine in OS X, and works fine in some stuff in Classic, but doesn't work with Emailer. I've tried rebooting into OS 9, make sure the drivers are loaded and config'd right, but it still doesn't work. So I'm guessing that Emailer just isn't going to use a scroll wheel.
And then... <ahhh> memories. I'm digging thru my office today to make room for some shelves or a table or something to put two printers on that are in my way... and I came across the printed directions for hacking Emailer to fix the AOL y2k bug. Its a little over a page written by Dan Frakes and sent to the list on 1/4/2000. I don't know which is more amazing... that the Emailer group was able to come up with a fix in just 4 days for a dead application with no source code... or that I have piles of crap in my office that haven't seen the light of day in over 3 years!?!
