The older version of Baton Mail has a flow control problem where large files will cause your computer to freeze as Baton Mail overflows its TCP buffer. I'm amazed you aren't seeing the computer freeze but instead are just getting timeout problems. The new version fixes that, BUT, in the process of changing the way the data flow works so it would no longer run out of RAM and freeze the computer... I broke the flow timing, so now it can be slow, and in many (most?) cases, may not work on the first try at all (it just stops sending as it gets confused if it should be sending or listening). <sigh> I really really want to do work on it... I even know what is causing the problem... its just kind of killing me that I have to do this thing called house shopping before my rental lease is up and I find myself homeless :-) Hopefully, I will get the chance to work on it soon... of course I have been saying that for quite some time. -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
