I've just now set up Microsoft Outlook Express for a test drive. Call it
curiosity.

In the process of the setting up, a folder named Microsoft User Data was
created. Among other files, this folder contains the Emailer addresses
and signatures I imported. The Microsoft User Data folder now sits on my
desktop. I don't want it there, but I have no idea where it should be
placed. The System folder? The OE folder? Preferences folder? Microsoft
doesn't say, unless you put it somewhere that you shouldn't -- then you
get the attached cryptic alert. Typical of Microsoft. [The reason the
folder was in the trash is that it was the second such folder I had to
make (I'll spare you the details) and it contained only my signatures.]

Can someone tell me where the folder should be placed?

Thanks.

Neal

BTW, I'm writing this in Emailer, v2.03. Still the best.
