IMHO, currently the most Emailer-like email client is PowerMail and works
in both OS 9 and Mac OS X, so if OE will be discontinued in the near, or
later, future you will not need to retain your people again when you move
to OS X or when OE ends.

PowerMail will import your address book but I don't think it can import
your mail. My wife uses it and it is reasonably good and quite similar
except that you cannot collect your AOL email and the new log is not the
same as in Emailer.

Would you really like me to distribute your unlisted telephone number?
Basically it's the same thing and increases the Spam we all get.
