You mean it doesn't retain the last place you put it like it does under 
OS 9?

I think it does for me on my OS X computer. I've never really tried as on 
my OS X machine, I just leave it in the default top left corner, but my 
wife moves hers to allow room for her AIM buddy list, and I think hers 
automatically opens up shifted a bit to the right where she last left it.

Make sure in your prefs that you have the option for restoring window 
positions set. (Setup Menu, Preferences, Defaults, Check "Restore 
Previous Windows")
