> Dear friends- >Today I received the following email with the Subject line saying - >VIRUS (Worm.BugBear.B) IN MAIL TO YOU (from <[EMAIL PROTECTED] >riot.net.au>) > >What does this mean? >I do have contacts in Australia whose email address ends in au but nothing >like >[EMAIL PROTECTED]
<sigh>. This, combined with the other virus emails you have received recently, tells me that someone you know has an email virus on their computer. Nothing you can do but ride it out until they fix the problem on their computer. Don't worry, you are immune, but you may get some strange messages for a little while. Check the long headers on the next one you get and look for the Return Path (should be the first item). See where that goes. It may ring a bell with you as to who it came from (regardless of what the From address says), and maybe you can be nice enough to let them know they may have an email virus on their computer. -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
