I've been having some problems getting CEmailer (2.0v3, under MacOS
9.2.1) to connect. After upgrading my copy of Interarchy and running a
log, it appears that instead of sending:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]

(which is what SBC says I need to use in logging in), it's only sending
the username before the @ symbol. So SBC doesn't recognize me as
entering a valid username and won't let me do the SMTP authentication
:-(

I have also tried putting the username into BatonMail as
jimrcgmo%sbcglobal.net, but that doesn't work any different. I'm trying
to figure if there is some other way to get the combination of Claris
Emailer 2.0v3 and Baton Mail (tried using both versions, per Chris'
suggestion by email).

Anyone out there on the list who uses SBC/Yahoo (if your email ends
with sbcglobal.net and you use CE, you probably have managed to get
things set up properly) who can help me with this one. I'm very tired
of Web-based email and don't want to use Outlook Express (or other M$
email clients) other than on rare occasions.

Any and all help appreciated so I can get back to the smooth use of CE
and my email again.

Jim
